Location: Glasgow

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm 

Salary: up to £35,000 per annum DOE

Role Details

The purpose of the role is to provide a safe and professional working environment for all Kura employees.  The Estate Services Co-Ordinator will be responsible for working with the Chief Culture Officer and to ensure that Kura buildings offer a work environment that is aligned with our culture

 

Key responsibilites:

  • Manage the Estate Services budget to deliver cost effective services
  • Complete weekly site standards checks to manage both the fabric of the buildings and employee behaviours.
  • Work with the Chief Culture Officer to deliver new buildings to the required Kura standard on time and to budget.
  • Ensure that H&S standards are met and that sufficient first aid and fire marshall resource is in place at all times.
  • Manage outsourced service suppliers to deliver exceptional services
  • Ensure all Fix-it requests are carried out within the agreed SLA
  • Ensure planned preventative maintenance is carried out in line with the schedule.
  • Work with resource planning to ensure optimisation of space across the buildings.
  • Be the core point of contact for ISO Audits where applicable to the physical environment.
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping within operational floors, offices, stairwells, toilets, and communal areas.
  • Stock control of consumables.
  • Business reporting to demonstrate performance.
  • Effective management of building access and egress.
  • Statutory reporting as required.

Requirements

  • Building Services Management or Facilities Management qualification advantageous
  • Health and Safety Qualification – NEBOSH or equivalent.
  • Previous experience within a facilities management role.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong process and administrative skills.
