Job Title: Retail Advisor 

 

Location: Richefond Circle, Umhlanga, South Africa

Salary: Earn up to R84 000.00 base salary per year 

Hours: Monday to Friday 11am-10pm 

Saturday 10am to 7pm (Rotational)

45 Hours per week.

 

This is a permanent full-time role as a Retail Advisor in our Richefond Circle Office. This role is on-site.

We are looking for new talent to fill our full time permanent Retail Advisor roles in Richefond, Durban.

 

As a Retail Advisors you will be responsible for efficiently handling customer requests and providing accurate information whilst ensuring the highest level of customer care is provided. You will also be responsible for handling and managing customer complaints from start to resolution, making sure the customer is at the forefront of all you do. 

 

You will be responsible for:

 

  • To be part of a multi-skilled team taking queries either by phone or e-mail, ensuring that all queries are answered in a timely manner and are completed to a high level of customer service
  • To achieve set KPI’s as laid down through the PMP process
  • Ability to gain information through effective questions in order to make fact-based decisions regarding issue resolution in order to drive representative satisfaction
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to work across cross functional boundaries
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-functional team to achieve set targets
  • Ability to make informative decisions and apply judgment and reasoning in order to achieve effective outcomes
  • Being able to explain, understand and resolve complex issues to achieve representative satisfaction
  • Ability to resolve customer issues and make decisions to drive representative satisfaction and aid retention
  • Acts as an Ambassador for Avon with the Rep always being at the heart of the business
  • Understands the Reps business and actively promotes current initiatives & incentives either through upselling or other agreed value-added initiatives.
  • Positive engagement with Team Leader and colleagues
  • Keep abreast with industry Updates by participating in educational opportunities

Requirements

  • 2 years’ international customer service experience within a retail/ e-commerce campaign is essential
  • 1-year international customer service experience, combined with 6 months experience within a retail/ e-commerce campaign is essential
  • Detail orientation: You pay attention to detail to produce high quality output, no matter what the pressures
  • Flexibility: You remain adaptable and flexible in the face of unfamiliar or changing situations
