Job Title: Energy Sales Advisor

Location: Richefond Circle

Hours (Daylight Saving): Monday to Friday 11:30AM - 21:30PM                         

                                             Weekend Sat: 11:30AM - 16:30PM

Salary: up to R84 000 per year

 

This is a permanent full-time role as an Energy Sales Advisor in our Richefond Circle Office. This role is on-site.

We are looking for new talent to fill our full time permanent Energy Sales Advisor roles in Richefond, Durban.

 

The role involves setting up smart meter bookings for existing EDF clients by promoting the benefits of the meter. You will be expected to handle both inbound and outbound calls as well setting appointment reminders. Attention to detail is key as you will be booking smart meter appointments with 3rd party engineers, therefore understanding the customers situation and needs is crucial to ensure the appointments are scheduled accordingly

 

You will be responsible for: 

 

  • Booking Smart Meter Appointments
  • Log complaints (Dissatisfactions)
  • Identify vulnerability and update PSR on the customer’s account.
  • Efficiently complete customer requests and provide accurate information, always ensuring the highest level of customer care is provided.
  • Follow up on customer calls and provide feedback where necessary
  • Maintain efficiency and productivity by meeting and exceeding daily targets and monthly targets
  • Adhere to standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure data accuracy by following verification procedures such as repeating and confirming the necessary customer information (DPA)
  • Accurate dispositioning of calls
  • Keep abreast with industry Updates by participating in educational opportunities
  • Positive engagement with Team Leader and colleagues

You will receive several weeks of full paid training on our systems, products, and call handling.

Requirements

 

  • 2 years international experience within as sales campaign, utilities experience is essential
  • 1 year local experience within a sales campaign, utilities experience is preferred
  • Detail orientation: You pay attention to detail in order to produce high quality output, no matter what the pressures
  • Flexibility: You remain adaptable and flexible in the face of unfamiliar or changing situations
  • Enthusiasm: You demonstrate passion and energy when communicating goals, beliefs, interests or ideas
  • Initiative: You take independent action to make things happen and achieve goals
